Although our new translation of the Canons of the Synod of Dort (Chosen-Called-Kept) was published last Autumn, June 2023 marks the real launch of all four of our current books.
Display advertisements are due to appear in leading UK Christian newspapers in June 2023, and a number of review copies have been sent out to various Christian periodicals both in the UK and worldwide.
The books are all available on Amazon online worldwide. There are large ‘Look Inside’ features on all the Amazon listings of the books.
The books are available to bookshops and libraries worldwide through all the major wholesale channels including Ingram Book Group, Barnes and Noble, Walmart and Target in North America; Gardners, Waterstones, Foyles and Eden in the UK; Adlibris and Gardners in Europe; Booktopia and Fishpond in Australia and New Zealand.
We have have also been encouraging Churches and Christian bookshops to take copies at a greater discount that we are offering for a short time. In the UK the books are particularly being sold at The Mound bookshop in Edinburgh (https://moundbooks.com/)
The Psalm-related books are available as EBooks, both from Amazon worldwide, and also from Kobo (https://www.kobo.com/) which is distributing to a number of other outlets.
The EBooks are available through Overdrive (https://www.overdrive.com/). This is a free service that lets you borrow eBooks from your local library. OverDrive is available in most public libraries in: Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand. We are hoping that other outlets, such as Christian college libraries will be able to access it as well. We would be pleased to get any feedback on how this is working.
There is a notable gap in book circulation worldwide in relation to Africa and particularly South Africa, where the new translation of the Canons of the Synod of Dort (‘Chosen-Called-Kept’) has generated some interest. We are therefore working with a book production company in South Africa to publish the books there, which will give a better price to local Christian bookshops and Churches and will also enable the books to be sold and distributed by takealot (https://www.takealot.com/)
